Hsieh Fu Hua
Mr Hsieh Fu Hua was appointed on 11 June 2014.
Mr Hsieh is currently adviser to the PrimePartners Group, which he co-founded, and a board member of GIC Private Limited and Grab Holdings Inc.
Active in the community, Mr Hsieh also serves on the boards of a number of non-profit organisations. He chairs the National University of Singapore, the National University Health System, the National Gallery Singapore, and the Stewardship Asia Centre. He was formerly the President of the National Council of Social Service.
Mr Hsieh started his career in merchant banking and capital markets in 1974 when he joined Morgan Grenfell Asia Holdings upon graduation, eventually rising to head the organisation. He subsequently served as Group Managing Director of BNP Prime Peregrine Group Hong Kong, CEO of Singapore Exchange, President of Temasek Holdings and Chairman of United Overseas Bank.
Mr Hsieh has a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from the University of Singapore (now known as National University of Singapore).
Mr John Thomson was appointed on 8 January 2019.
Mr Thomson is a Partner at 3i and heads its Southeast Asia business. At 3i, he has led a number of investments in sectors including oil and gas, financial and business services, media and healthcare. In addition to Southeast Asia, Mr Thomson also has investment responsibilities in China and India.
Prior to joining 3i, Mr Thomson was with Coats Viyella plc.
Mr Thomson has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Physiology from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, UK.
Bobby A. Heerasing
Executive Director & Chief Executive
Mr Bobby A. Heerasing was appointed on 3 May 2018.
Mr Heerasing is Chief Executive of ACR Capital Holdings Pte Ltd and Asia Capital Reinsurance Group Pte. Ltd.
Mr Heerasing has more than 20 years of international and regional (re)insurance experience. Prior to joining ACR, he was the Regional Underwriting and Distribution Director of XL Catlin.
Mr Heerasing has a Master in Business Finance from Brunel University London, UK. He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK.
Law Song Keng
Mr Law Song Keng was appointed on 27 June 2012.
Mr Law is a director of Great Eastern Holdings Limited, IFS Capital Limited and ECICS Limited.
Mr Law was formerly the Managing Director and CEO of Overseas Assurance Corporation Ltd (OAC) and a member of the Central Provident Fund Board. He also served as Director of the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore and the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation. Mr Law also held the positions of Insurance Commissioner and Actuary and Deputy Managing Director (Administration and Insurance) at the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Mr Law has also served as Chairman of the Singapore Insurance Institute as well as President of the Singapore Actuarial Society, the Life Insurance Association and the General Insurance Association.
Mr Law has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (First Class Honours) from the University of Singapore and a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from the Northeastern University, Boston, US. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, US, and attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard University.
Mr Neil Mathison was appointed on 30 June 2016.
Mr Mathison is the owner and Director of Mathison Consulting Pte Ltd, a management consultancy for (re)insurers in Asia.
Mr Mathison was formerly the Executive Chairman of Aon Benfield Asia where he had also served as Chief Executive Officer following the merger of Aon Re and Benfield in 2008. Prior to that, Mr Mathison lead the East Asian reinsurance broking operations of Benfield and Greig Fester as Managing Director for Asia ex Japan and has worked in the Asian reinsurance industry for over 30 years.
Mr Mathison was Deputy Chairman of the Reinsurance Brokers' Association of Singapore from 1997 to 2015.
Mr Mathison has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Southampton, UK. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK.
Serena Tan Mei Shwen
Alternate Director to John Thomson
Ms Serena Tan was appointed on 8 January 2019.
Ms Tan is an Executive Director of Investments at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, specialising in Financial Services Banking, Insurance and Fintech. She also sits on the board of CIMB Thai Bank Public Company Limited and CIMB Bank Berhad.
Under secondment from Khazanah, Ms Tan served with Lippo Bank in Indonesia for two years. Prior to joining Khazanah, Ms Tan was with Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Co.
Ms Tan has a Bachelor of Commence degree in Accounting and Finance from Macquarie University, Australia, and a Master in Business Administration under the MIT Sloan Fellows programme at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, US.
